Floricultura da Cidade works today as a reference in the Moema neighborhood in São Paulo.
This was one of the main premises for the development of the project. Before, there was an obsolete space after the closure of an old laundry room, a degraded sidewalk, poor lighting, lack of security, creating a poor urban space for residents and bystanders in the neighborhood.
I realized the potential that modifying this commercial space had to bring quality to people's lives and I focused the purpose of the project on quality and experience.
The façade, characteristic of a classic French style from the 17th and 18th centuries, reveals hospitality, identity and desire to express feelings, inherent to romanticism. Since then, the brand's identity has been communicated, whose main activity is the sale of bouquets and arrangements.
In the internal part, two main flows were considered: the first and most intense is the farthest, and returns to the assembly counter for the arrangements. This counter frames the back of the store, its curved shape and mint green ceramic coating reinforce the fluid and light style of the project.
On the left side is the payment and information desk, developed with fabric integrated with joinery, the same fabric used for some types of flower arrangements.
The plants act as the store's own ornament, they were always present during the design process of this project.
The project as a whole reveals the identity of La Rous Studio, seeking to combine need, identity and irreverence with its creations. References from art and architectural movements are always pillars for concepts and are connected to the originality of the stories present in each space and its surroundings.
